A Courthouse Steps Amish quilt in bold contrasting colors!
The Courthouse Steps quilt pattern is a variation on a traditional Log Cabin. In the case of this quilt, the maker alternated blocks of paisley print fabrics with solids. All “logs” are quilted in the ditch. There is an enormous amount of hand quilting as a result. A wide black border is carries a hand quilted garland pattern. The contrasting colors of this quilt are particularly interesting and make this a versatile quilt. This quilt is one of our favorites (and we may keep it for ourselves!). A large king size quilt for a king size bed.
