Heart of Roses + Boston Common = a beautiful Love in Common Amish quilt
This Love in Common Amish quilt (our first) is of an appliqued heart of roses, buds, leaves and hearts, in the middle of which is a hand quilted heart – all embraced by an appliqued bow. The fabrics chosen for this quilt are especially beautiful and delightful. The appliqued heart and bow are surrounded by beautiful fabrics pieced into a “brickwork” pattern, which becomes, overall, a Boston Common pattern. This quilt is also reversible – the maker chose a soft blue pattern fabric to back it.
