The maker created this piece so that every detail is intriguing and she uses different colors of embroidery thread to cross stitch each block. This adorable Baby Animals quilt depicts bunnies, squirrels and teddy bears next to blocks numbered 1, 2 and 3 and initialed A, B and C.

Another amazing baby blanket – an Amish Flower Garden baby quilt. Great unisex colors include green, yellow, blue and pink. Be sure to look at the detail photos.  You will see that this entire quilt is made of sewn-together hexagonal pieces of fabric.  Each hexagon is precisely pieced to create flowers. Every single side of every single hexagon of fabric was hand quilted. Just an ingenious and gorgeous little quilt.

Tumbling Blocks Baby Quilt – amazing use of color to create a beautiful little unisex infant quilt. 

Amish Spirit is happy to present this traditional Tumbling Blocks quilt pattern – in baby quilt size. The artist cleverly uses a mix of dye fast calico and solid fabrics to create interest and depth in this timeless quilt pattern.  While it’s far easier to create a Tumbling Blocks pattern by piecing together two triangles (into a diamond) the quilter didn’t take the easy way on this quilt and it was well worth her efforts.
