An Amish Broken Star quilt in dramatic colors
Here is a beautiful Amish Broken star quilt. The artist used an array of jewel toned burgundies and blues over a white background. As with any star pattern quilt, the piecing must be perfect to line up the many small diamond shaped pieces of fabric necessary to create a star within a star such as this. Every side of every diamond both the central and the outer star is hand quilted. Flowing feather hand quilted patterns surround the star. And just for good measure, there’s a hand quilted heart at each corner of this quilt.
