An appliqued Amish Quilt – Country Garden Pattern
Applique quilts are difficult to make and time consuming to finish, so we seldom have them in the shop. This Country Garden quilt is filled with hand cut and appliqued flowers, buds, leaves, branches and bows. The maker chose shades of blue and hand appliqued all elements over a light background for contrast. She also appliqued garlands of flowers around the borders and on the portion of the quilt that will cover your pillows. The entire quilt is heavily quilted with some very precise and tiny stitches.
