Diamond Star Amish quilt in blue and white
We have some new quilts from a remote Old Order community in Wisconsin. The community, guided by a strict Bishop, seeks self-sufficiency with minimal commercial interaction with the non-Amish world. We are excited to present their work. Note the extensive hand quilting which contrasts with and thereby sets off the Diamond Star. Also, perfect piecing. We photographed this quilt on a bed two ways: with the 96″ side and the 109″ side across the width of the bed. As you can see, it’s suitable for both king and queen size beds.
