Double 9 Patch

Why is this quilt a Double 9 Patch? If you look closely you’ll see that the smaller 9 Patch blocks are themselves part of the larger 9 Patch blocks. The small squares are postage stamp size. The quilting is excellent. This is a double sided quilt – the back is a high quality very heavy blue cotton. The maker
chose truly beautiful fabrics. A great quilt for a queen size bed. We love this quilt!
