Amish Pinwheel Quilt
This is a quilt of genius! Hand quilted daisy-like flowers create a garland that surrounds what the Amish call “Primitive Pinwheels”. The sash and the binding: happy, well-chosen and support perfectly the Pinwheels, which are pieced out of light-ish to dark-ish fabrics. Placement of the Pinwheels creates an overall hombre effect: a visual breeze. Wind driven motion, energy, health and vitality.
